Her 💔

When I started to think of one of my favorite film endings, one of the last films that I saw and really touched me was “Her”, because it shows you how lonely we are as human beings, it makes you feel that we all need love in some way (even if it’s not a conventional way of love) and that you always learn something from other people in different kind of relationships, that stays in us forever.

The storyline of the movie is focuses on a man called Theodore Twombly (Joaquin Phoenix) who felt in love with his artificially intelligent operating system called Samantha (Scarlett Johansson) in a kind of dystopic future, when everybody uses their phones like they were other persons. During the develop of the movie, you can see how lonely we are as persons from our need to always be in a romantic relationship, waiting for another to complete us.

Besides, during the whole movie, Theodor felt in love with Samantha, a very unconventional way of loving another “person”, but when she breaks up with him (yes, because she had a relationship with all the other users), you realize what it means to teach to other to feel, to live and to recognize the real feelings, and how life actually works.

Consequently, in the ending scene Theodor is sending an email to Catherine – his ex-wife – telling her how important was her into his life and how much he learnt from each other during their marriage. “The hard part is grown without pulling apart” says Theodor in a part of the movie which is repeated at the end of the film, when Theodor was sincere with himself.

In conclusion, during the whole movie you can see how important is to fell love with the others, to have a special relationship with someone and how alone we are, waiting for someone to complete us and have a family or something. Finally, love is a very complex thing in life, besides it gives you the best moments of life.
